What is the difference between what colors dogs see and what colors cats see

Now that you know why I wanted to do this project I can finally tell you what I found out and how it works. First of all you have to know what cones are. Cones are in almost all animal and human eyes and that is the thing that allows us to see color. We humans have three cones, we have one blue cone, one red cone and one yellow cone which are the primary colors and if you listened in grade 1 you would know that with those primary colors we can make all the colors in the world. That is why we see almost all the colors in the world, but for dogs and cats it is different because with cats their cones are more round at the top which makes their color vision much more dark and blurred. But personally dogs get the color treatment much worse, because dogs have normal cones it is just that they only have one blue cone and one yellow cone so they can only see yellows and blues. I probably forgot to mention this but cones are in your eye and they are right behind your pupils and they are connected by nerves in your eyes, and that is what dogs and cats see for their entire life.

In conclusion cats and dogs do see different colors because of there cones, because cats have rounded cones and dogs only have two cones which are yellow and blue, I also have one more conclusion which is that the difference between what colors dogs and cats see is dogs only see blue, yellow and green and cats can see all colors it is just very blurred. So in conclusion cats and dogs do see different colors and there is a difference between what colors each one sees.
