We are concerned about planet Earth. We think people don't take care of the planet. For example, at my school people just leave their garbage on the ground. They think it is just a tiny piece of trash and it doesn't matter. But if everybody thinks this it can have a really big impact.

We want to investigate human impact on the planet and animals. We want to see what bad things people do that hurt the planet and hurt animals and see what we can do to make a difference to fix it. 

We researched with google. We searched up how volcanos affect the wild life and plans.  We already knew about the great pacific garbage dump. It has been killing a ton of animals. It's not good but we also heard that kind individiduals came and started to clean the dump and more eviromentalists can come!

We also searched up how forest fires happen and why people cut down trees. We searched up how this is really bad for animals. 

Polution has killed many animals including sea animals. Its not only us humans but natural things that cause pollution like volcanos, and forest fires too! Dorothy and I want to show an example of how bad it can grow thoughout the world. Polution can happen in all sorts of different ways. Polution is the introduction of harmful materials in to the envierment. These harmful matierials are called the pollutants. Pollutants can be natural, such as volcanic ash. They can also be created by human activity, such as runoff or trash made by factories. Pollutants can also damage the quallity of air, water, and land. This impacts not just people but also animals and the enivonrment itself.

One thing we've learned from this is how much trash there is in the great Pacific garbarge patch there is 1.8 trillion pieces of trash and there is a lot of people trying to help.
