Problem
On average about 90% of teenagers have social media and spend an averge of 1.5 hours everday. Studies show that a majority of these people are teenagers of about 13 and 14 years of age and spend about 4.1 hours on different social media apps daily. This causes many other problems like cyberbullying, addiction, and my focus, attention span. My goal with this experiment is to figure out if social media affects the attention span of teensagers and I think that yes, social media does affect the attention span of most teenaagers.
Method
To carry out my experiment, I created a survey for students of ages 12/13. I gave tthem a prettyboring paragraph to read and at the end they had to answer questions like: their age, whether or not they use social media and how long on average they use it, if they found it interesting, and if they had eaten that day. I then analyzed these surveys and decided that whoever read less than 13 lines of the paragraph(half of the whole thing), maybe had a lower attention span than the kids who readover thirteen lines.

My conclusion on this experime
