Problem

My project applies the use of computer programming in the creation of a family friendly video game, called "Cowboy dash" which people of any age can be entertained with.

Method

Firstly, I came up with the basic idea of what I wanted my video game to be, then I began designing the characters, background and obstacles in my game. From there, I integrated my designs into the scratch programming platform and finally I began to develop my game.

Analysis

I've gone over my game several times to ensure that they were no glitches in my coding and it acted in the exact way as it was intended, to the best of my ability. The most notable of them being my coding of the jumping mechanics of my cowboy character, ensuring the cowboy would only jump up 70 units in the y axis and stay there for 1 second before returning back to his original position. As well as my programming of the cowboy's running motion ensuring that any actions such as jumping or sliding would not affect the character's running motion.

Conclusion

In conclusion, my project and the development of my game "Cowboy dash" displays the potential applications of video game development with scratch 3.0 programming language to be used globally.
