Vivian’s hypotheses: my hypothesis is the least advertised dish soap will clean the best and some people dont like expensive soaps so they go for the cheap soaps because the expensive soaps cost more money to advertise. 

Morgan’s hypotheses: my hypothesis is the least advertised dish soaps will clean the best because most people just choose a dishsoap with cute or modern packeding or just choose one because there in a rush or they just dont care.

We have done research on what is agar and how it collects mold we have made sure that we have used the same amount of soap and same amount of water so it Is all pretty much even when plates are being cleaned. 

controlled variables: petri dish, plates, swabs, dark room 

manipulated variables: dish soaps

responding variables: mold growth, 

step 1:  cooking agar and preparing Petri dishes

step 2: letting the petri dishes sit 

step 3: swabing plates before and after being cleaned

step 4: putting in a dark warm room 

step 5:  take photos and log what is happening 

- so far we have noticed that the plates are cleaner before being cleaned then the after results. Or maybe what the agar is showing is maybe you need to put more work into cleaning?

- we have also noticed that the agar STINKS!

what we have learned so far is that whn you put your dishes into the dishwasher it is the best way to end up with really clean dishes 

So now that we have reached the end of our project the best way to have actually clean dishes is to use a dishwasher with the 

Finish Quantum Ultimate.

The way that we would change our project is when we were taking photos of the petri dishes dont take the lids off because that will then let the bacteria or the dust in that room fall on the agar so there might be some bacteria that arent from the soap.

One source of error is we used one dishwasher soap when a dishwasher is already so powerful but at the same time it was bennafital to have that as an option because alot of people just wash dishes by hand but as we can tell using a dishwasher is a way better way to have accuall clean dishes. something that we would also change is figure out why the petri dishes shriveled up because now we dont have anything to really show our project so that is something we would change.
